Creating Smiles
Siddarth Tamang was from Sikkim. Economic background of his family was not great, that weighed on him though the cheerful demeanor masked the challenges. He was well on his way to a vibrant, independent life.But he lost his mother even as he was undergoing rehabilitation at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. He had to cut his training to go back to complete her last rites. A couple of months later, he too, passed away, death triggered by secondary complications as a result of his spinal cord injury. We could not even give him The Right Wheelchair that he needed. We remember him. It is to persons such as Siddarth that your support provides a launchpad in life.
